    Hi guys.

Spend a few hours today cleaning the car, just wash no wax.

I also bought autosol to do the exhaust, but it didn't work, it actually made the metal look very matted... My neighbour uses autosol and raved about it for his ST and his exhaust is mirror clean.

Any thoughts how I can get it clean or how to use autosol more effectivley?

    Thanks

    Neil

    Thanks for the pics.

So... What type of cloth, how much autosol do you use per application?

I will try and polish it up next weekend, will post the results.

    So there is still hope...

    ^^ what Mark said

I forgot to buy some wire wool when I did mine at weekend. I ended up claying the exhausts, applied autosol then buffed with microfibre cloth.
Tried doing the insides, but think you really need wire wool for that.

    Emaps remapped

does anybody else think there car sounds different with a clean exhaust (inside) or is it just me :-/.microfiber cloth i wrapped it around the exhaust and kinda of buffed it like you would a shoe if you was cleaning it its hard to explain.and as above really wire wool or ive always used a cheap scourer pad with tar remover first to get any tar off,the a bit of alloy wheel cleaner then Pressure washed off then dried then autosoled

Or you could do what i did... search ebay for a stainless exhaust trim, and just give it a wipe every week... sets the car off and very cheap, from £5... !!
