    Hi
The Drivers Door Pull/Arm Rest has been badly scuffed and the coating has worn away exposing the black material underneath. This has probably been caused by the previous owner wearing a ring. The question is; How do I repair this as it is the only blemish on an otherwise immaculate car.
Iam not sure what the finish is (whether it is paint sprayed or some other plastic coating) My options are to either paint the area or maybe buy a Wood Trim Kit and cover it. Perhaps someone can advise. After considering all the options I have decided to buy a Wood Trim Kit. Anyone have an opinion on these?

you could try someone like Morelli or Cars and ask them to match the color and put it in a aerosol for you and paint it! that would be the cheapest option

Thanks for the advice on my problem. Do you have an address or contact No. for the paint supplier you mention? I was trying to find a match and was considering using some cellulose undercoat I had which was very near. But your suggestion is more suitable. I just fail to see why BMW finishes this material and in this location with a painted finish.
