I have a stone chips and few small scratches that I would like to sort out. I would like to buy some touch up paint or paint stick, but was wondering which one I should go for?

BMW do a pack which includes paint and clear cost for £19.
I have also just come across this set at Halfords?

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...goryId_165580#

Anybody have any experience of using the Halfords touch up set? Are the colours accurate?

You were right to go for the BMW one because from experience, Halfords were always the wrong shade when dry.

yeah thought it was best to go with BMW.
Had a bad experience with third party paint few years ago after we got B&Q to mix us one of their custom colours for the new kitchen. Got home, painted it on walls then soon realised it was drying PINK

We painted over it pretty sharpish

Dizzle, let us know how it marches, got some BMW touch up myself and was a little disappointed as it didn't match well

You did right ordering Bm paint I've tried Halfrauds it's OK ish , I then tried a guy on ebay with something like 3600 feedback for Alpine White touch up!!!.

The 1st sample was like Cream supplied with a bottle of clear coat[with white FFs]

The 2nd had a more greyish tone

Finally he sent me the perfect match[or so he said] you guessed nothing F88kin similar I thanked him for his efforts & bought some stuff from the Stealers

I heard that some folks not use them corectly , you need give it a good shake before using it because the pigment particles are settling on the bottom of the botle after time .
