Well a few goodies arrived last week but I just had time for a quick wash.

And on with the new plates and surrounds, I ordered a silver set of surrounds and then discovered they also come in black which I thought would look better on my car.

That was all I could get done as my other half took it down to middlesborough for the weekend, then it went into garage mon morning.

These little goodies have also arrived, along with the 335 exhaust conversion, and carbon diffuser, so once I get the car back put up some more updates.

Hi Craig, P40L,

I fitted the number plate surrounds on monday, however as the front bumper is fairly curved, it was a pain to fit, It wouldn't stay closed, then then hinges at the top snapped, so I'd guess I'd need a new one of those then!

Not a great last few days all around then after my previous goings-on!!

I'll place the shark fin on top & get a few pics after the cars had a good wash at the weekend, I'll post them, as your both fellow 320d owners, i'd be interested to get your opinions?

I also plan on getting carbon mirror covers, what your thoughts on those?

P40L, I had a look at those number plate xenons, were they easy to fit?

Have either of you had your BM's lowered?

Last Q, Have either of you had your brakes upgraded, I'm still really keen of the BMW Performance Brake Kit. My existing ones just look naff, as its sitting on 19's, so there somewhat lost behind them.

Any more thoughts/ideas/suggestions let me know?

Cheers again!! Gareth.

P.s. Looking forward to those pics Craig!!

Alright lads

The leds took 2mins to replace, very easy to do.

Gareth with your carbon theme you have going on what about the carbon boot spoiler?

Mine is just on the standard M Sport springs, not sure how much lower they are to yours..

:thumbsup

ah, sounds like your having a bit of a mare gareth, I know what your talking about fitting those number plate holders with the curve on the bumper, luckily though mine never broke, but it was a bit dodgy lol.

I think if your big on carbon and your gonna have a bit of a carbon theme on the exterior I don't think the carbon fin will look out of place.

Im sure the bmw brake upgrade would look great on your car, not sure if it's where I would be putting my cash though as its a pricey bit of kit. There are cheaper kits I have a Hi-Spec 355mm 6 pot kit on my escort which is pretty good.

Im sorting the exhuast tomorrow so i'll def put up some before and after pics.

Cheers for the link for the L.E.D.s P40, I will be fitting them next time home.

Just had a brain wave this morning! I'm gonna swap the back on to the front & vice versa, then I'll araldite the hinges on the rear one, as it lays completely flat.

I've had the smoked indicators a few weeks now, but may give M Style a call & see what they say?

I know the brakes are expensive, but the look great & the standard calipers just look naff!

I'm keen on the carbon mirror covers, but just think the carbon shark fin may be going to far?

Evening Guys, The exhaust pics look great, am I jealous............ slightly!! I'm happy with my twin exhaust though.

Quick Q for you, I'm going to debadge my motor this week, what do you recommend for getting the sticky adhesive off the boot?

I'll post the pics of the shark fin tommorrow, so you guys can let me know what you think, also fitted the rear number plate holder earlier, I'll put the front on tomo & post that too.

I've also been reading arctiles about vinyl wrapping, whats your thoughts?
Considering getting my roof done in carbon, then the shark fin wouldn't look out of place!

All the best, Gareth

All i used to de badge mine was a hair dryer and some soapy water, they came straight off.

As for wrapping, personally i think your roof would look good!

Iam trying to twist the other halfs arm, to let me get full leather, just dont know weather to re trim my M Sport alcantara seats or buy some and sell mine,
