    Hi All

I have half electric seats on E60 2006 530D and I have found some full memory electric seats with heating, question is, is it just a matter of plug and play do I need to get some coding and wiring done in order for them to work, or will these not fit at all?

A quick responses is appreciated as I am going to see them tonight.

    Many thanks
    S

You will need to get the OBC looked at, if you install them the computer will not recognise them and they won't work

A good independent BMW specialist should be able to re code

I've heard of other people having tried this, the seats will work for 10 seconds then not at all

So it's only a matter of coding, no extra wiring required?

They will plug in ok, but obviously if you haven't got buttons on the dash for heated seats that will need additional wiring

but the seats themselves will work after re coding

But if I'm not wrong the heated buttons are on the seats on BMW not on dash?

Mine are on the dash in the same panel as the PDC and ETC buttons.

Are there not also buttons on the drivers door cards for the settings as well?

They're in the dash, the seat movement and memory buttons are on the seats but the heating buttons are on the dash. On the panel in front of the gear stick, far left and far right in the image below.

It's a good question though as it's an upgrade I quite fancy myself
