put it this way id prefer forodo's Bosch or mintex pads over greenstuff anyday of the week.

iv heard alot of good stuff about mintex tho, even on track days.

they may be more commercial and common, but there alot better.

not really. iv only ever paid a few quid more for ferrodos than the cheapest pads form somewhere like halfrauds. and as for mintex im not sure if there standard but know them to be a very good pad all round and even good for use on track (even rallying) whatever you get will be a compromise. you can go all out and get some pads for racing but they wont last long and need to be kept warm. you can get basic cheap pads that will be ok for "normal" driving or you can go for the middle to threequarter waymark and get something that will handle most things thrown at it.

personally id upgrade discs and callipersAND pads rather than trying to upgrade the standard articles (which the thread starter is doing i believe)

    Evening,

With reference to the above, I'm planning on upgrading the Calipers, Discs & Pads, if a job's worth doing its worth doing right!

Thing is with yours its the same base car so through time you can just do the upgrades and you will end up with the same result.

Here's the link to mats i got

I paid 12 and half quid for it a couple of weeks ago, with 60,000 miles and bmw history, and also the m3 wheels. it weas from a garage, but i managed to talk them down a bit on the price because it was cash pound notes and im a tight fu**er lol. i took it away there and then.

It wasnt that much more i was planning to spend up to 12 but i would have got something a bit newer with less miles, but no way would I swap it now.

    Morning!

Craig2016, you got any pictures of the Shark Fin fitted yet, I've been thinking about getting the carbon fibre one from MStyle

    You done anything else recently?

The only thing Ive done is change the plates and surrounds, my fiance took it down to middlesborough over the weekend, and it was dropped off this morning to get dsc hydro unit replaced and MOT'd.

The painted fin, new exhaust, carbon diffuser and other bits and bobs are here, so once I get the car back (prob wed) i'll do some pictures.
