Just a quick update, regarding my bimmers progress!
Just had it remapped today at Corten Miller Performance Centre, Nr Boston, Lincs.
They ran it on the dyno first, it matched BM's claimed figure, at 163.3bhp, (they said this was very rare to match the claimed figure) then remapped with a Superchips Remap, back onto the dyno, lets just say i was very pleased with result... 196.9bhp!!
Oh the 40 mile drive home, has never been so enjoyable!
Ummm, what to do next?
congrats mate, i will be following in your steps very soon
Is there a huge noticable difference?
Also whats the mpg like?
but ur priorities would be (that u aint got yet):
m3 style rear lip spoiler
sportsline eibcah springs (if u keeping standard suspension)
sport interior (alacanatra or leather)
sports steering wheel
Thanks for the replies.....
Is their a difference, Its like chalk & cheese! HIGHLY Recommend it!
As for MPG, not sure yet I was a little more energetic with the right foot driving home, however I'm driving to Kendall & back this weekend from Lincs, so I'll be keen to see what MPG I return.
Firstly, the remap cost me £400, but so far, I think its worth every penny!
As for further mods.....
Their's a fairly recent thread on lip spoilers at the mo, so I watching that with interest...
Suspension - I'm looking to lower it fairly soon, between 20-30mm, its currently on 19's, so I can't lower it too much.
Blacklines - Cheers for the price on the other thread, I've had a quick look on ebay, so could be making a purchase in the not to distant future.
I've already got a full black leather int, so no changes reqired there.
I really want the BMW Performance Steering wheel, with the shift lights, but at present I can't justify the £675 + fitting price tag!!
Any other suggestions?
Ooh & good luck on getting the E90!!
Have you thought about a speaker upgrade? that is certainly on my list, although not right at the top!
I've considered it, their's a package available from BSW Sound Werks!
Not at the top of the list, until I get the exterior looking the way I want it!!
yeah I had a look at their stage 1 upgrade, at £589 i thought it seemed overpriced just for replacement speakers, I was thinking along the lines of getting 2 sets of high quality 4" speakers and replacing stock items
