Hi all, some little plonker has scratched every panel on my bmw except the roof with what I can only think is a key. Its made such a mess. I am puting it through my insurance however they may say its uneconomical to repair. My question is does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have a full respray (except the roof) and can anyone recommend a good body shop, I live in between Oxford and Reading. Thanks all.

How deep are the scratches? If not too deep maybe a bodyshop could use a cutting paste or buffer polish them out..

Thanks for the replys, the scratches are down to the metal in most areas, however some panels might buff out. I took the car to the BMW dealer and they said Im looking at about 3 to 3.5k for the work.

go elsewhere dealers charge over the top prices putting their commision on the top if they use outside paintshops....

big corperate repairers insurance companies use are usually top quality. howard basford in the northwest where i live the best repair and spray jobs ive seen neighbours done twice and my mums aswell top banana jobs..

will be similar companies your area who do private work aswell most do anyway if your payin yaself..
