Whether permitting this weekend I'll be giving the 330D it's first clean.
The engine bay needs a bit of TLC and is just a bit dusty so only really needs a quick rinse, light scrub and a dress.
I've only ever cleaned an engine bay once before where I just covered the starter motor/alternator/ECU with cling film and gave it a quick rinse with the hose very lightly. Sprayed on AutoGlym Engine & Machine Cleaner and then another rinse and dressed it with Vynil & Rubber care.
Does this sound okay for the 330D? are there any parts I should be particularly careful not to get wet? I think the alternator is located on the right hand side of the engine and is easily visible. I'll probably cover the air intake too.
Any tips/advice welcome,
