    That's correct, it would invalidate the BMW insured warranty I've also been told.

    thank you Neal much appreciate it. I will ask them once they open for business. Any ideas what I should expect pricewise? It will be bad form if I drop dead from a stroke once they tell me so I best be prepared ;-)
