I need to remove the bezel (front panel) of the CD unit in the front console, can anyone give me advice on how to do this. I am not sure if this is clipped in or held in place by screws and I do not want to try and prise the cover off if there is a risk of damaging it.

Many thanks for the reply Guesty2010. The previous owner had a bracket fitted for their mob.phone which I wish to remove, its fitted to LH side of the CD unit and the bezel for the CD unit must have been removed in order to install the bracket in the first case. I have a Haynes manual on this model but the instructions in it are rather vague as to how you remove the various console panels in this area. It talks about removing the hazard warning switch and removing screws from behind but this doesn't seem to make sense
