Just finished a relatively quick yet productive detailing session on my car and thought I'd share a few pics with people who may appreciate it

First detailing session of the year for me after the harsh winter so uncovered few nasty surprises but nothing I did expect.. glad I had a full protection detail before the winter took a grip or it'd be a lot worse!!

As always foamed the car first using PH neutral autofoam..

Let that sit for a few minutes..

Rinse, washed and thoroughly rinsed again with CG citrus wash and my trust megs lambswool mitt to get to this stage..

Then after drying, lightly rinsing and drying again I was ready to use my CG synthetic quick detailer I'd had tucked away since last summer and had never used.. (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detail.../prod_146.html)

    Leaving the results....

The CG Synthetic QD is very good stuff and certainly worth a try.. buffs off easily leaving a clear finish like a good QD should..

I should have added a layer of wax and probably should have clayed before washing but I'm lazy and haven't got the enthusiasm at the moment..

Having found numerous light scratches and blemishes I know I'm going to have to get the rotary out before show season and will do a proper 2 day job then and of course post up my results!

Great work mate, it looks like a fantastic product for black paintwork so thats another bloody bottle for the "must buy" list

It's pretty decent mate and good value.. but too be honest I've been reading a lot on detailing world about 2 new products that seem to be must have for black car..

CG Blacklight + CG V7 QD..

2 step protection and shine after polishing.. no need to wax!

I've ordered both products off cleanyourcar.co.uk, will do a quick review once I've used them and let you know..

I might look into the CG Backlight once my DDJ Purple Haze wax is finished, but will still look forward to your review.

gonna get some PB's Black Hole glaze to brighten it up prior to waxing
