    Hi everybody

(The hash 2 in the title is because I posted this somewhere else and I cannot find it too move it here)

Anyway I want to take the cover off the engine and give the bay a good cleaning out, Fair amount of oil in places for reasons I do not know (prev leak etc)

Any advice and what products too use, Dont mind getting hands dirty with a cloth either

    Cheers

Gunk, 1" paintbrush, cloths/rags and a spare hour should see you right in degreasing the leaked engine oil,
for the bay and plastic covers theres some nice pics and advice in meka's recent thread...http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...re-and-t85672/.

Must be an Audi driver, t*t

I wouldn't pressure wash, don't see the need. Gunk will eat the grease and an open hose will run the loose muck away.
