    So after reading other posts about detailing etc, I decided to give my engine bay a once over.

    I used AG engine cleaner and then AG vinyl & rubber care. Only took 15 mins and this is now the cleanest engine I've ever owned!

    Before and after pics below. To be fair the engine by wasn't too bad to start with, but I was pleased with the result. Shame about the weather as the after pic was a little wet!

    2nd that....looks loads better...just done mine today with meguiars cleaner and dresser...looked good..but again wasnt dirty too start wih!!!automobile o.c.d!!

    Thanks... I definately have OCD, managed to clay most of the paintwork today, get it polished and waxed too. 4th time of cleaning in two weeks of ownership. This forum has alot to answer for!!

    Looking good ...now make sure you wipe it with a clean cloth on a weekly basis to keep that shine

    How do you actually clean the engine?

    I dont think thats advisable. There are a few good detailing guides on here so check them out.
