Ive also got the Valeo's and they've been on the car for ages now and are still fine. I just clean the rubber blades every month or so with window cleaner spray and they are like new again!

Well i got a reply from bosch today, better late than never i guess.

Here it is, may help some.

    Thank you for your enquiry.

The AR728S are correct for your BMW 330 [E46].

To correctly fit the Bosch Aerotwin Retrofit set AR728S to the BMW E46 you have to remove the ‘clip’ from the driver wiper arm as shown in the diagram below.

Hi, I have had the Bosch AeroTwins on my E46 saloon for a while now. Several months at least. I have the AR728s wipers and have found them to be fantastic! They are very quiet and clear the screen really well.

Bishop, yep you have to remove that clip (wish I'd seen your post sooner, sorry) as I think it restricts the movement of the wiper. I seem to remember reading something about bending the driver's side wiper arm slightly so that it provides a bit more pressure (but don't quote me on that...)

I purchased some of the Bosch AR728S Bosch AEROTWIN flat wipers for my old 2003 325ci M-Sport and they were great once I had bent the wiper arms to allow them to sit flat on the screen! However, 3-months later they were getting noisy and the passenger blade was showing 3-4 streaks of uncleared water right in my field of view!! I won't be buying them again....I was impressed with the look though!!
