Hey guys, so I've come across this website, offering UK legal, but German style pressed plates...

Now I don't have a personal Plate simply because I don't ever want to have to worry about the legality of my plates. However i would like a set of pressed ones, just cause they look so cool. But I want them to be 100% road legal, don't want to be pulled over for any reason what so ever.

(There is only one personal reg i'd want, my Surname, and my Dad has that... for now)

    So, what do you reckon..

    http://www.platemyride.com/uk-legal-plates/

Also, last thing i want is to have to drill my bumper, so do you reckon these will go straight on? Or will I need a holder?

Which opens up another problem, if i need a holder, i want a BMW one. BUT as my car is M-Sport, but not M-Powered, I don't want holders that say "M-Power" - An "M-Sport" holder would be nice, or even just a basic BMW one.

Don't suppose any of you have bought a non M-Power, yet still BMW plate holder recently?

The Number Plate holder are orderable on the Internet from numerous EU suppliers in black, chrome, with white lined border, etc etc and some have the option of having your personal message/name on.

Nope but I'm looking to offload my 2 month old set, getting some better ones (more expensive).

Just strategically position a www.bimmerforums.co.uk sticker over the M-POWER ..

    My current holders..

    ones with www.bimmerforums.co.uk sticker...

ooooooh, Reckon a BF.co.uk sticker would cover it? Without covering up any of the other text? - Interested for sure.

I'm half Sri Lankan, but strangely despite being pulled over on literally a weekly basis back in the days of driving a mk2 golf (lowered, powerflow exhaust etc - silly) since i bought my first BMW (3 cars / 5 years ago) I've been pulled over a grand total of: NEVER.

Pretty crazy cause i drive a LOT faster now, and a lot more in general, but the cops just seem to ignore the beemers.

    *Touches wood*

I'm a hoody wearer too, so it looks so bad to see a nice sporty BMW with a youngish looking lad, dark skin and hoody driving it like it's stolen! lol.
