    Hi folks,

There's some great stuff on here and absolutely love looking after my bimmer. The garage seemed quite proud of how 'clean' they said it was when I picked it up. Spent 6 hours after bringing it home and have cleaned every nook and cranny (yes the toothbrush came out too). The body work looks amazing now and would like to say it looks clean now

the only part i struggle with is the headlamp lenses. They obviosuly take a lot of the abuse that gets flug up from cars in front and wondered what products peole use to polish these up?

    Any advice very welcome.

    Thanks

    Phil

You probably need to use a machine polisher or even in some bad cases wet sand them and polish them back, not for the faint hearted though...

There was a guide in Total BMW a month or two back, I will see if I can dig it out...

Your right Kevin, it was Junes issue of total BMW.

I use AG car glass polish on them every time I do the car glass. If they're slighlty swirled (when switched on) you can wet sand them and polish them with megs PlastX. I used g3 and some 3m machine polish as its what I had at the time and got to say they came out brand new
