    Alright Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has changed the downward fancing exhaust tip to a twin pipe style one? Will it stick out like a sore thumb? I know a place in Leicester who will chop the old one off and attach the new tip with a new clamp. Am thinking of doing it but not sure if it will fit in the sport bumper insert or will it need to be modded?

    Cheers

The rear sport diffuser will accommodate a twin exhaust, just look at a 325i/330i and you'll see it can be done.

The only 2 questions would be do you prefer a tailpipe to a proper backbox with twin pipes if you do offer the tailpipe to the diffuser
prior to purchase to confirm fit and you're happy with the "look" ?

    Cheers Si,

Am looking at cost really. Backbox's will set me back at least 150 and this is a 20quid fix. I should be receiving it in the next few days and will be looking into how it fits into the sports diffuser, I want it to look very simlair to the 325 from the rear..

Received the twin pipe today. The Tail pipes seems a lot bigger than the 325i OEM Look. Am not sure whether It will stand out like a sore thumb..Plus after a quick measure up it the rear diffuser will need to modify so it can go in.

Personally if you're having to mod/butcher the diffuser I'd leave well alone, but thats JMO
