    Hi,
I have a 2003 320d ES model bmw which doesnt come with front foglights. However this does come with some slots in the bumper to add foglights. Will the wiring already be behind the bumper fed into the interior?

Please do let me know. It seems like a cool mod to do.

Do let me know what other "cheap" and "quick" mods i can do.

i couldnt give you a definite answer but normally if the plastic removeable discs are in the bumper then the wiring should be in place! spotlights are cheap aswell but easiest way to find out is just pop the plastic covers off and see for yourself, will take you 2 minutes!

    hey thanks for your reply.

ive just bought the car and waiting to get it taxed before fiddling. i would've thought that BMW will build the car with the wiring so that adding optional extras is easy.

why is it so hard to find a workshop manual?

exactly, i know its different but for example the cd changer wiring is in every e46 so if someone wanted a cd changer as an extra it made it easier for bmw to add in the factory!

thats why i think it'd be the same with foglights!

oh i know its a nightmare, you'll struggle to get a decent manual, haynes only do general 3 series ones which are shite!

A quick and relatively cheap upgrade to your car's looks is to change the radiator grills. You can buy online either full chrome, black or carbon versions. You just unbolt the plastic cover over the radiator and click the old ones out. Cheers! Expat
