    Hi, just a quick question

My car has been keyed and booked into a bodyshop for that to fixed. should i clay bar my car before it is sent to the bodyshop or after when i get it back?

also can i polish the sprayed area afterwards or am i meant to leave the area for a while?

Thats a difficult one because you should not clay your car for a month or so following a respray but then is it worth claying it if its going to be sprayed anyway?

I wouldnt worry about it mate as they will sand it down and prep the area so it will be ok...

Also you got to let the paint dry for like a couple weeks... so dont wax or polish it if you can for that time..

FinishKare do a bodyshop safe wax... check here mate...

I was told by the guys at Meguiars not to polish for a few weeks as the paint can go sticky ?

Ok guys this may clear things up a bit. The attachment is what I got when my old car was repaired.

They are a puka paint shop and put a life time guarentee on there paint work.
