    Hi all,

Just purchased myself some carbon fibre wheel centre caps and front/rear badges - (Ebay)

Can't wait for them to turn up now. Here's hope they fit nicely.

Assuming all goes well I will post some piccies when they arrive and I fit them !

    Hi all,

    Quick update on the situation...

Got the wheel, bonnet and boot badges... terrible quality. Extremely disappointed. Fitted them anyway.

Wheel badges: After driving about a quarter mile and back one of the BMW logos was missing from them. Took the rest of and put the originals back on.

Bonnet/Boot: Bad quality. Reckon with the Scottish weather I will get 6 months before the originals would be back on again.

Not much I can do about the wheel badges. Won't be able to return them. Bonnet and boot, going to take them back of, clean them up and try and return them for my money back.

If all goes well I will order a genuine BMW badge from: www.c3bmw.co.uk

Then next month hopefully order up some original wheel badges from the same site.

Sighhhhhhhhh - probably my own fault for not doing my research

The ones you are looking at look exactly the same as the ones I bought. If you want my opinion, go to the dealership and order 4 wheel badge caps (plain) then order 4 C/F wheel badges off Ebay and stick them on with superglue. That way you are making your own good quality wheel badges.

    Up to you though mate

Thanks for that, think I will use my old ones spray them black and get some M badges to stick on and remove the small M badge from the wheel.

Hi,after looking at the sellers feedback I took a chance and ordered the carbon look centres. I am impressed with them £28 for 4 not sure how much the OEM ones are but as my MV2 wheels are being refurbed in anthracite/carbon I think these will suit better. Will post a picture next week.

Sound. I hope they work out for you better than what they did for me Just make sure the c/f centres are properly stuck on. I would even suggest peeling them off and superglueing them on properly!!

If you do have any problems with them mate just let me know because I have got 3 sitting in the house that I could easily post down to you (brand new).
