ok now you've confused me fella,

theres three settings for the light right? 1st off, 2nd secondary lights, 3d full lights. and then you have to move the indicator switch to get beams right?

mine come on when you do 2nd. does it make sense or does it seem like theyve got it wrong?

My boss at work has an A3 3.2 Quattro with 17's and Eagle F1's are just over £100 a corner!

Not the greatest quality pictures of the lights but it will do for now.

Another pic is of my car in the body shop before they sanded the paint back abit and went over it all over again. I don't envy them but the pain it causes to see you're car in that state man

Ok lads I need you're expertise again, I am looking for really white lights to go with my angel eyes.

I went to halfords today and the guy working there didn't have a clue if there brilliance bulbs were white or if they were just brighter than normal. He also thought that my compact was an estate...( enough said )

So what sort of lights should I be looking for or if any of you guys have purchased any bulbs, xenon. Can you recommend any and do they have a really white out put?

I recently contacted a company about their ECU Remapping and asked them how much it would cost and what sort of performance would I be looking at.

I was quoted £275 and in return " The BMW E46 316ti engine we can take from 115bhp up to 129bhp and the torquefrom 175nm up to 190nm "

Is it worth the money and will I even feel a difference? The reason is as you have all seen I put new wheels on my car and ever since I've noticed I have not been getting the same quick response when I put my foot down and not as much power. Is there anything else I can do to get abit more juice from my engine?

yeah i put 18 inch silver mv2's on it, they look amazing on the car but i just need that extra bit of power. so i was thinking maybe of a remap or something but the price you pay for the tiny bit of power just doesn't make sense.

i was thinkin of puttin them m3 wheels on mine but opted for the mv2. and i could of sworn ive seen your car around manchester lol.

Don't waste your money remapping the 1.8 N42 engine..

I considered it with my 316 but decided against it.. your not going to get noticeable gains so its a waste of money!

There was a guy on here who had is 316 remapped and got something like 3 or 4 bhp gain and didn't even notice a difference!

    Save your money mate seriously..

Better off with a high flow filter and leave it as is..

By the way.. 19"s are the way forward on the compact, thats what you need
