not sure on the lights mate but i would say they should be a strait swap, the trim have push on pins just start on pasenger side and carfully pull i used a screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape to assist on the removal, the gear surround pull the leather gator off, there are 2 screws, remove them lift up the surrond take off the window switches, door handles use the screwdriver again they are just clipped in hope this makes sence its getting late lol, befor you do any spraying you MUST remove the coating thats on them you can do this by putting them in boiling water and scrape it off bigben has done this have a look for his thread all he did was wax the plastics imo they looked

What dailydoggy was referring to is the forum rules. Bodywork and Styling questions go in the Bodywork & Styling section - as you're a new member I moved it for you. Also, there are rules regarding posting threads. Threads must start with a certain format, Year, E Number, Model, Query, e.g. for this thread I retitled it for you to follow this format: 2003 E46 316ti - MOD styling.

Please have a look at the links below my post and familiarise yourself with the rules. It can be daunting at first but these rules are what make the forum so very well organised and easy to search for problems.

I did the interior trim in mine, which made a massive difference - I spent ages picking all of the skanky vinyl stuff off and then painted them titanium silver to match the exterior.

I have just colour coded the exterior trim, which I also think makes a big difference and is quite easy.

In terms of other jobs, I would consder changing the wheels for some MV I's or II's, black grills and angel eyes (also just done this). Also little things like chrome indicator bulbs and new side repeaters will help to smarten the look of your car up (well, it did mine!).

Here are some pics of the stuff that I have done to my car...

Man I've gotta give it to you that interior works perfectly with yours. I think considering my exterior is black maybe a brighter colour would be better for the interior? I am still abit iffy on doing this job myself because ive never really worked on a car before.

Where did you get the angel eyes from, and did you fit them yourself?

ive recently bought new plates with the bmw badge and stuff, and hopefully be buying a new set of MV2 18 inch alloys, still trying to negotiate price. ive been quoted 299 without tyres though. Also looking to do the dials.
