the remap crew said that they will tweak the engine, and take out any " bumps " dont know what he meant by that but he said it will help. its a good price if you think about it, that simon guy who wanted to remap wanted to charge me £275 quid.

ill have a look at the websites and see whats what. whats yours feel like nick when you put your foot down? i know you got a 316 like mine.

Honestly mate I made the same enquiries your doing now.. i thought the same things then everyone I spoke to who didn't want my money told me not to bother!

Even with an eisemann exhaust, full induction kit and a re-map you still wouldn't be happy with the power (130bhp absolute maximum!!) and you'd be about £1200 or more worse off!

Be happy with what you've got or buy something else was the advice I was given...

I'd agree with Bader mate - being an N/A engine there isn't much you can do. It will probably smooth out the throttle response a bit, but the power gains will be minimal.

For now I'd try a descent induction kit. But even that won't add too much power.

tomorrow i will deffinately put pictures up day time and night time because of them angel eyes.

which reminds me, i picked up some lights from my local parts guy and he gave me these bulbs that look exactly like the ones on ebay. when i put them in the car theyre alot better and they have that blue tint, however i saw on the side of the box it said " not for street use " so dunno what to do now.

Good stuff - I've asked my fair share of stupid questions at the garage in my time! Its only bad when they have no sense of humour!

How bright are the bulbs you have been given? It may be more trouble then they are worth if your local plod are bored. When I was searching for info about HID's I came across a police forum discussing it and some of them have a massive issue with aftermarket kits and bulbs and will do everything possible to chuck the book at you.

yeah thats what i stumbled across theyve even made videos on youtube saying not to put them on and how theyre illegal and stuff like that.

the stupid thing is instead of targeting the people who have put these after market mods onto their cars they should go to the people supplying them on ebay and shops.

how bright my lights are? well its an 80w light, its bright but i wouldnt say its a great deal brighter than my old ones.

I know stupid isn't it - its not illegal to supply them, but it is illegal to install them if your cas doesn't have projectors. A definitive answer would make life much easier!

If they're not much brighter than standard, you'll probably get away with them.
