Hi guys, this information is great, ive just bought the exact same car and thought id have to fork out for a new surround.

Does it look ok without the polish, cause mine is slightly scratched and im thinking of just scratching the rest of the vinyl off for now without removing it from the car?

    Cheers

    Noob Kayd.

Alright there i was just picking at the nasty vinyl stuff about half hour before seeing this thread. And was just wondering if its fairly easy to take the gear gaiter surround off because im gonna do all the trim thats covered in my compact.

    cheers
