My car is so dirty in that pic as it was taken just after the snow and was a right state.

I'll be takining it to a few leeds garages this weekend i hope and will let you guys know...
Currently living in that flat bit they call the east , proper out in the sticks!

Please no more snow and Compact in same sentence!!, was not a good time. Perhaps just my combination of tyres/wheels but even ½" snow rendered the car useless. I just can't imagine how bad it was up north and Bigbenstrikes way, if we get it bad like that again I'll consider joining the AWD club. (Not got the room to have a set of winter tyres see)

Keep us updated with your repairs, hope you don't find any places "trying it on" like I reckon I've probably found!!

I cant think of any bodyshop that would want to repair that bonnet, its fu***ed. You'll probably find that the inner skin of the bonnet is creased & twisted more than the outisde, its not worth salvaging. Try to source a second hand one.

a straight 2nd hand one would be a cheaper option! just have to pay to get it sprayed then..

query with quarry motors.. also search for "bmw compact breaking" on ebay and e-mail all the sellers that come up.. i'm sure one of them will have a decent bonnet for you..

failing that try 247spares.co.uk or bmspares.co.uk

Compact - I've had issues with my rear bumper as well - some old fart caught the drivers side corner in B&Q, scruffed it and snapped part of the mount of. I patched it up as best I could whilst I searched for a second hand one, but I found 325ti bumpers like rocking horse poo to find - I've bought a 318ti one, which I'm going to modify (make the exhaust hole bigger) off E-bay for a tenner (if it looks pants, I've not really lost anything) - just need to get off my bum and sort it.

Back on topic - that bumper looks pretty mangled, as said before I'd look for one from a breakers and paint it (if required). Good luck.

It's taken me this long to find a second hand bumper! But here she is in all her reformed glory!

Anybody needs a body repair contact in Leeds then PM me and i'll give you this guys number. Really reliable and most of all cheap! Also gave her a clean and wax while he waited for me

The chips on the grille were from the previous owner of the bonnet. i'll keep them black as thats what i had last time just need to sort out a minute to redo these 2.

Can do all the other stuff i need to do now... Well after my MOT and service next week, expensive month...
