Err, is it that they project the text "FX-R PROJECTORS" on the ground everywhere you drive, like in the pic???

Yeah pic is for lhd, OP correctly fitted the rhd spec ones so should just be a mirror image of the above.

Nope not those. Park your car facing a wall like that with the headlights on and look at the beam. It won't be anything like that.

heres my beam pattern aprox 50 metres away. This was after i tweaked them to give it a bit more of a flick like uk lights

I still may take the lights out and try to tweak it some more to try and give it an even wider beam pattern, where i adjusted the the cut off shield positions to make the beam level i think i moved it up a bit higher than i wanted to but its still great on the road

Bimmer320, I've bought some Bosch projector lenses (with the high beam ability) and a set of 8000k hids to go in them...

do you simply take the headlight apart and cut a hole in the silver lense, and then screw the projector onto that lense? (pre drilled mounting holes?)

and also how do they bulbs fit into your projectors...mine seems to "push" in, but not very securely...

I dismantled the headlights and placed the projectors inside the reflector housing. I had to chop of the part at the back that the standard bulb fits to and dremel out the remaining hole. My projectors have 4 hole mounting so i drilled 4 holes and bolted them to the reflectors with long m5 bolts and nuts. Hardest part is making sure the beam pattern is straight afterwards. What bulbs do the bosch units take? mine use ds2 stlye bulbs.
