Okay to add to this LiLo, If it was to work then you would need to ditch your original bumper and go for something that's more in your face. Too much attention is brought to the number plate which IMO is not good.

I would advise that you look through past issues of Performance BMW and see if it has been done and how they have gone about doing it. Please put a great deal of thought into it before making your decision

It's all good doing something different to everyone else but sometimes there is a reason WHY certain things are not done often or if at all.

PS If you like it and you feel it's the right decision then do it, just because it's not to my liking DOES NOT mean that it's not the right choice

I just think that it makes the front end and the whole car in fact look alot more aggressive, think that in general thats what the E46 compact lacks to be honest

That's why tuning companies produce after market kits. They enhance the good that BMW have done and make it look even better.

Threads such as this one should have a POLL added

*Edit* I think it looks like a blind person was playing pin the plate on the bumper

    I'll add a POLL

If you like it mate then like I said, do it. I personally do not feel though that there is enough happening on the front end to warrant spending the money and draw all the attention to an item that is there for no other reason than being a legal requirement.

Look at the Evo that you posted up, loads happening on the front. The number plate does not look out of place. I still think the square plates were better when mounting off to the side though, as used on the Evo 6

I don't think it would look right on your car to be honest, I think it would look too tight a fit and draw people's attention away from a great looking car. You want people admiring the car, the wheels etc, not noticing that the number plate is in a strange place.
