    Hi Gents,

My first time posting - so firstly hello !

I'm wondering whether one of your kind souls can help me with a parking sensor change. I've got a 2002 325 ci coupe - it's the m sport version where the parking sensors are right in the rear bumper (so not that little strip at the bottom).

I need to remove the rear bumper and have read a variety of guides and am still stuck. I've removed the wheel liners, the "hanger" and PARTIALLY the two T50 torx.

However the T50 torx are loose but will not drop out the bumper as they are sitting on the black m sport lip that attaches to the base of the bumper

Does anybody know whether I need to take that lip off and how to do it?

Here's a pic of a bumper that is like mine:

Really confused, may just give it to a professional !

    Thanks in advance.

if its the same as my compact then inside the boot under the plastic strip there are 6 ithink 13mm nuts 3 each side if you undo them the hole bumper including the slam bar should just pull off, make sure you uncip both sides of the bumper at the wheel arches first !!!!! hope this helps
