Good job mate. Looks really good - the black gills make the front end look more aggressive. I broke loads of clips of my OE gills when I took them out.

All you need now is a set of angel eyes!

Good stuff. Your car looks really clean given its done 170k or.so.

What wheels are you thinking about?

I got a really good quote to get mine done in black chrome from a chap in Lichfield who comes very highly recommend. I'm not sure if I should stick to.silver though. Hmmm.

It was £47.50 per wheel plus VAT for the black chrome plus £35 for removing, refitting and rebalancing the wheels. The chap will also drop you back home for free if you are within 20 miles. The wheels are chemically stripped, then hot blasted then painted.

There are a couple of people on here who have used these guys and can't say enough good things about the quality of the work.

I really like MVI's on the compact. I would really like a replica set of the wheels that get put on the 130 / 135 sports in black chrome.

thats a good price mate i usualy charge £35 just for coating, the blast company we use charges £15 per wheel then there's the price for removing tyres then putting them back on and balancing around £10 per wheel so all in £60 per wheel for cash and we dont do any colours like black chrome etc
