    Hi all.

I need to replace the n/s wing mirror painted backing as mine is cracked from the previous owner clipping something.
As far as I can see there is no further damage as everything works fine (mirror, mirror adjustment and folding mechanism.

I was wondering if anybody has a guide on how to remove the backing from the mirror housing?
    Do they just clip in?
Do I need to remove the mirror itself? If so how?

    Any help greatly appreciated!

if its already broke then just pull it off, if it wont come off slide a screwdriver between the painted part and the black part and gently prise it off, i think there are 3 or 4 plastic clips holding it on
love life as much as your car
