Just somthing I've been thinking about just wanted some opinions on it cause i'm still not sure if it's the best thing to do, so here goes.....

Updaing the front end away from the compact look and go for the coupe/saloon look i.e new bonnet/headlights and bumper? BUT would it all fit? I'm sure it would just not 100% sure.

Is it worth doing though or just a waste of time and money? Has any compact owners done it?

Cal this is very late to the party - I saw a link to someone elses compact(s) from here last night, but my browser cleared the links. 1 of them was a stunning light clay coloured compact with full m-tech sport bodykit, shark fin, nice set of 18's, and a tailored bonnet; from the outside edge of the bonnet the shut line tapered down towards the bottom of the kidney grills, hiding some of the quirkyness around the light area. Can't find the link for the life of me, but maybe this rings bells with someone else.

Think it was a german site, someone had a black compact which hit a wild boar, that prompted the re-work.

Sorry I can't be more helpful mate!!

Oh and saw that someone stuck a set of E46 coupe/saloon lights on a compact and re-worked the front, and in my humble opinion, it just didn't look right at all.......

I'm looking at doing this mod to a compact, but I would like to take the whole front end from a saloon (facelift) and put it onto a compact, including wings, bonnet, slam panel and front bumper. Does anyone know of any reason why it may not work, I can't see one!
