    It's all about gaining the experience, getting to know your own car, etc.

    I bet you would be much quicker at replacing that tail light if it happens again!!

    I would be very surprised if BMW used 8000k as standard, and not only that but 8000k are noticeably blue. Factory xenons are usually anything from 4300k to 5500k, and even 5500k can have a very faint blue tinge. It could be the previous owner put 6000k bulbs

    yeah, i think they must be 6000k as they are noticeably blue. with it being an estoril blue car it really suits it

    Let us know how you get on if you do take the plunge - a set has been at the top of my shopping list, but I've been a bit slack in sorting some out. I think for the money, they are one of the best things that can be done.

    The stuff on the how to on here doesn't look too bad to do - just reckon take your time and be careful. I think I'm going to get a set sorted for the end of May and do them over the last bank holiday (and finally replace my rear bumper....)

    Personally, I don't like the blue tint, I prefer what BMW uses, standard dull white colour

    sajan, what are those rear lights on your compact? mine the standard lexus ones but i much prefer the style you have!
