    i remember a thread a while back that described the best way to prepare silver grills for black respraying. had a quick search and couldn't find it. anyone remember where that post lies?

    I sprayed mine myself. Two set of grills. Just sand down the original chrome to a flat dull finish and them its primer and black spray. you can sand inbetween to get it nice and flat too.

    Who did you buy your black ones from ebay from? Whos the seller basically? So we know who to avoid!
