100 watt bulbs also take about 8 amps of power per bulb whereas 55's take just over 4 amps, the higher ampage could cause damage to the loom
Main beam who would know? Theyre hardly ever on !
that was my thoughts but then last night was googleing looking for decent priced bulbs and loads of forums were sayign they had 100w and after a couple of years the looms melted none were on bmws but im now thinking i should just play safe and have uprated 55w bulbs in there
Alot of people use 100W bulbs, according to posts Ive read on here
And high beams will only rarely be on, whereas mainbeams are always on (Im guessing more chance of a fried loom - if that really is a possibility) I might try higher wattage flasher bulb at some point
well i finally decided to go for the halfrauds extreme brilliance gas xenon bulb they were "bogof" and they claim to be +90/ brighter and i can vouch that they certainly are, what a transformation well pleased with them, while i was in halfrauds i splashed out on a set of aero wipers and they have to be the best mod ive ever done absolutely excellent wipers and no noise whatsoever well chuffed
Yep, before upgrading to HID's I used the Halfrauds Extreme Brilliance and they were very good. The Super Brilliance (bluey) ones weren't so good.
I demand pics.... lol
