Been playing around with the missus car for a little while now just hate leaving them alone so brought some bbs replica wheels for it second hand and didn't notice the offset till I received them bt to my suprise they fitted wheels are as follows 18x8j et18 with 245/40/18's don't know if the off set is right but this is what the advert said and couldn't really make it out on the back of the wheels any how I want to drop the car a little to blend them in what would be the best lit to buy to achieve this really want 10-15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear to try and get no rubbing issues once the tryes are shoot will look at getting so 225's on them to help

    Any advise would be greatful

Note there is no issues with rubbing at the moment

Hey mate, my e28 is just lowered on Apex springs, which drop it 30mm, they will drop the e46 318 35mm according to their site. My ride is a bit too soft and the shock will sometimes hit the stop on big bumps at speed, so I'd probably look at coilovers for the adjustability

Try Spax adjustable coilovers, supposed to be good.

for that sort of minimal drop eibach pro springs may be the answer..

although if your going to be tinkering and changing things periodically i'd also go with coilovers.

for the money spax RSXs cost you can get GAZ GHAs which also have adjustable dampening.. your talking best part of £600 here mind!
