    Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but I thought this was most appropriate. My brake dust shields the thin metal things behind the rotors have corroded and snapped off and I need replacements.

Bar ringing BMW is there anywhere I can buy them for a fair price? I cant seem to find anything by typing brake dust shields into google. Im figuring from another guys thread this is the correct name for them?

I need them by next wednesday when car is booked in for suspension overhaul hence desperation.

    thanks guys

They're only £37 each from the dealers for the fronts. Do you really need them on your car? Beacuse to get them on the front hub/bearing has to come off meaning you might have to spend more £££ on a bearing plus labour..

Do you think I need them? I was just worried about a load of road dirt getting onto the abs sensor and that. If the hub and bearing comes off does it need a new bearing or is there just a risk of it going (im not tech. minded sorry!). I got a mate with a garage who gives me free labour

the dealers is probably the only realistic option - I got 2 for the compact not that long ago and I don't recall them being that expensive..
