    Hi guys.

I'm looking towards a 330ci as a all rounder as oppose to an M3, however I love the M3s quad exhausts.

But I was just wondering, if I bought a 330ci sport and wanted to fit the M3 quad exhausts would I just need one of these (and the m3 exhaust):

Would it just mount to the stock exhaust or would it require modification?

    Thanks

    hey mate,

you would be looking at a conversion for a coupe not matter what engine, and yes you will need to change the rear bumper and obvs the exhaust, you can look at M style to get the conversion, i think they are the cheapest:

but honestly i think you should just get an M3 as it is much nicer imo plus once you do the back you will want to do the wheels and so on!

IMO keep the 330 standard, then after a year or 2 get the real thing.

Normally this is what I say to people haha.

But I really want a white e46 coupe, so was looking at vinyl wrapping it, then thought it would look nice with some m3/csl alloys and a quad exhaust

I am led to believe the boot floor needs to be chopped out to be able to fit the exhaust but i may be wrong.

Do m3s have a spare wheel?

The M3 system won't fit, it bolts on in a different way to how the standard system does using hangers, also as mentioned the area of the boot where the space saver is situated will need to be cut away.
There are some companies who will do a custom system for you...as an example..

    Thanks guys!

    Something like this would work?

    http://www.gumtree.ie/london/85/7394...1-10010-london

Or would that do more harm than good? (airflow wise)

Actually going to talk to a local engineering company, see how much it would cost to make me one similar to this:

    Thanks guys

I've been wanting to do this conversion to and got told to just buy an m3 lol. I think someone like powerflow or other exhaust fabricating company can make one up to fit your car. Thing is tho the rear m3 bumper won't fit on a coupe as the m3 is wider. Or so I've been told
