    william - sorry to go off on a tangent, but I'm planning on doing this myself next week and was wondering what primer you used?

    Not sure if this is the right stuff, but I was thinking of using something like this;

    Don't use white spirit mate it leaves behind a greasy film. If your strapped for money then meths will do or just get a bottle of panel wipe and use that.

    What kind of primer are you using?
