Hello all I know there is the front headlight removal DIY on here but can anybody explain better how the clips on the wings come off that attach to the front bumper? Do you have to take the wheel arch out first? Or is there part of the clip that you squeeze together? Or do you just pull it until it comes of?
    Any help would be grateful
    Thank-you kenny

Hi Kenny, As I have recently damaged my M Sport 325ti front bumper (Scrapped reversing off curb - Argh) In Body shop for repair today I can say that there are 2 holes (otherwise referred to by BMW In the manual as lugs) within the lower part of the front bumper that slide onto the Side retaining clips that are part of the front wings (Located on the outer most section of the front bumper, just to the side of the Indicators and next to the wing panels. Therefore the best way Is to undue the Screws on the top of the bumper the ones you can't see until you lift the bonnet and then also there are I think some torque screws depending on which bumper you have if not M Sport on the front located within the lower aperture, also there will be several screws on the underside holding the bumper on.

Do you reckon to undue all the other bolts/screw first? I have tried pulling the bumper out and putting my hand behind to see if I can feel any way of undoing the clips because the lugs on the bumper look as they are going to snap if I pull it any harder. This is the clip that is on the very top of the bumper on each side the make up the wheel arch. Just below the indicator? I just have normal bumpers but must be same fixings its them lugs that are on the ccfl diy guide that say are brittle but dunno how they come off ha ha

    Cheers kenny
