My car had been looking a bit unloved as I hadn't cleaned it for a few weeks, so thought I'd attempt a proper job - Turtle Wash Platinum Wash, Platinum Wax and Extra Gloss for the paint work, used some Wonder Wheels on the alloys then used Turtle Wax Platinum Leather Cleaner and Platinum Interior Cleaner.

Looks much better (I need to sort some cosmetic bits out - new rear bumper after some old fart hit me in BBQ and a respray for the front bumper because of stone chips).

Got to say that I think it looks OK and that the Turtle Wax Platinum series cleaning products are brilliant.

    Stunning car Sam

Silver cars always look great in my opinion

Do you have any plans in mind for the future?

    Thanks.

Got a few - will do a bit each month, depending on funds!

First up will be painting the trim Titan Silver to match the exterior, some angel eyes and black grills (although not sure about these yet).

After that I'm going to look at lowering (and powerflex f+r arbs, wishbones and rear trailing arms at the same time), green cotton filter and possibly a few other interior bits like illuminated M tech gear stick etc.

Once I start to work through my list of stuff, I'll start a post in the project section.

I have only used that the TurtleWax Platinum wax once, was happy with the results and the platinum range is actually decent stuff that out performs some the Meguiars range!

The car seems to have come up well but shame about the dull skyes when you took the photos as they never allow the true finish of the car to be exploited. Sounds like a good mornings work and effort!

Be too scared to get a scratch on it.....Alpine white is far easier to respray and cheaper too

I envy your leathers! Infact I want your wheels too Done your trim yet? I think the interior is too dark as it is. Car looks stunning (Silver Bmws generally do). Nice compact!

Do you like the FK Red/White lights for the compact?

I'm pretty anal about the leater and clean / condition it quite a lot!

Interior trim has been painted (here is the link to the thread http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...ogress-t20791/ ) and looks a million times better, and alot lighter / brighter.

As for the lights, are they standard ones on mine or the later ones when they went to LED's? I personally quite like the ones on my car - think they go well with the silver. The all red ones on the later cars look nice on the dark colours.
