Hi all, noticed the other day after jetwashing my car that the lacquer is peeling away on the drivers door(where it meets the wing)..and also slightly on the sill below...can i prevent this from getting worse?..if not,is there an easy, cheap remedy?...or will i need to take it to a bodyshop...and can they just strip the lacquer off and re-apply new coat or will the paint and lacquer need doing??...cheers Craig

You need to get the car lacquered I'm afraid, as soon as it starts peeling then it will continue over the panel over time, :(

Yep will need to go into a body shop, and as Ronnie says its only going to get worse. Just try and avoid going anywhere near it with the pressure washer for now...
