    Nope just degreased it then washed it off with water-came up spot on although you could use something like Autoglym Vinyl and rubber care to enhance the effect-You could also use Autoglym engine cleaner but personally I found using GUNK and rinsing it off was adequate...........

    Do you need special car degreaser or ordinary degreaser be ok to use?

    I got stuff out of Lidl, W5 Household Degreaser i think its called, very good at taking sticky marks off windows.

    Well i got the engine bay cleaned at the weekend only took 2 hours. I used gunk degreaser and autoglym rubber and vinal protector to finish. What do you think?

    As you can see i have cleaned the engine bay and now the girlfriend thinks am nuts!!! So how regularly do people clean there engine bays?

    You are not nuts! I do mine evey 4-6 months depending on how busy I am...I love keeping my engine bay in pristine condition!
