    That sounds expensive to me.

A guy in Bow quoted me £200 on monday to do all of the grey strips (including the bumper strips) but I thought that was abit crazy?

Colour coding makes a hell of a difference. Im lucky my car is black as it blends in more.

with a black car i don't think you'd get as much benefit out of having all the plastics sprayed too be honest!

pallarisari with your car though it makes a huge difference! £250 for just the door strips is expensive though! shop around mate i'm sure you'll get it cheaper!

that definately looks good. going to see someone tomorrow about it. what do you recon would be a good price for hte work? baring in mind the plastic bits need to be primed sanded down, then resprayed!

They are only really slim plastic bits, so when I was quoted £200 I thought that was abit off the mark. Anything you get sprayed needs to be sanded and primed, thats the same sales talk the guy who quoted me tried to pull off.

Theres about 10 strips right? I think £20 a strip technically isnt too bad, but two of them are tiny tbh. I would try to get some other stuff done too (strike a deal) EG interior trims or your boot handle or even the grill in the front bumper ?

i'd say between £100 and £150 is about right!

don't let them bullsh*t you, with the right kit it takes 10mins to get them smoothed down ready for priming and spraying! my mate that did mine told me so!

what exactly do you want done all together?? cos the door strips are 3 on each side? do you want the whole lot done? front and back bumper strips aswell?

oh right, £250 for the whole lot isn't that bad then, still a bit steep though, £200 is nearer the mark!

unfortunately he lives near me in south wales so not even worth you travelling cos the money you'd save you'd be shelling out on petrol!

shop around mate i'm sure you'll find somewhere cheaper than £250! its really not that big of a job!
