funny thing you ask that because i was speaking to a guy i know from way back down the pub last night and hes a sprayer and he said he'll do the whole job (6 piece trim) for £60.. thats smoothing the plastic strips, plastic priming them, couple of coats of paint and lacquered!

bargain i think, and i know he'll do a good job! so now when i get back from my holiday end of next week i'm ordering a sprayed m tech bodykit from m style, will fit that and get the plastic strips colour coded at the same time! it'll cost me about £900 but i think it's money well spent! im all about the looks of the car over everything else and i believe it makes the compact stand out and just basically look the shit!!

i think once ive done that i'm going to try and get a half leather sport interior to match the exterior and call it a day then.. once ive sorted my sound system out at least lol!

..possibly angel eyes and hid's aswell lol!

theres a company in portugal selling a copy of the m tech kit on ebay aswell but cheaper than that, £260 i think!

i would stay away from them, theres got to be a reason why there so much cheaper, i'd prefer to stick with genuine bmw parts too be honest!

if you buy a decent hid kit and fit it correctly it shouldnt cause any major issues, you may have to have you lights aligned at m.o.t after changing to hids apparantly but thats about it!

as far as fitting goes its just plug and play plus connecting the ballasts.. if you want to do the mod i'd go for it mate, so many people do it without any issues so no reason why you'd be any different!

if you are looking at aftermarket bumpers then try to avoid fibreglass ones...it'll end in tears.

Im looking forward to seeing you pick all this stuff up, youre living my dream !

    Keeping your MV2s?

pallarisari ; I know of a business in southend called Sharpe Concepts that does bodywork / paint for a fair price - know of them from a corsa forum & they did the trims for £15 each I think (corsa trims/arches ar bigger) if youre looking for somewhere to get them done.
