ive got a new job today that i start a week monday, big wage rise so going to spend some cash on my car!!

    what do you guys suggest??

    i'm thinking:

    hid's,
    re-paint wheels,
    m-tech bodykit,
half leather sport interior to match my paintwork,
    possible re-map..

also im in the process of doing my sound system!

what else is there that i can do?? what you guys think i should go for??

im not going to go mad because i'd be wasting my money but definitely wanna make some improvements!

M tech body kit should be top of the list! I have one on mne and it makes such a difference! Much sleeker lines, less of them around and just looks more aggressive!

without doubt mate, thats a definite!

going on holiday tuesday but when i get back im getting that sorted,

also going to have the side door strips sprayed same colour as the car and get some small blemishes like shitty touch up jobs and scratches sorted!

i love the compact mtech kit, i think its arguably one of the best back bumpers bmw do!!

will sell my standard kit then to re-coup some cash for other bits!

m tech body kit is a must on a compact. looks angry rather than just looking like a nice beemer. 18 inch mv1s look the bollox on a compact. full leather interior as well. hang on, just described my car there. obviously biased

Hi mate, cant you just get a M sport version? Insurance/ cost of car wise? Youll get most of the things you want as standard.

Blue dash/ interior and the blue seats look cool.
My car doesnt feel as fast as I think it should be? And my last car was a corsa 1.2

m sport versions arent easy to come by and normally have the 2.5 straight six which i dont want due to running costs!

your right our cars arent fast at all!

it does me though, quite cheap to run aswell! i have considered looking into changing mine for a 320td compact but i want it in the same colour and i cant find one!!

Im still adjusting to running this one, and couldnt insure anything bigger anyway so I know its not just that simple to go out and buy the Msport. I guess yours will be more so individual if youve got the kit/leathers on it though.

Ill keep an eye on your thread, seems your going for the things I would want to myself! Good luck with it all!

That blue interior and dash will make a HUGE difference. The sports seats are really nice and hugging , I love mine. What interior do you have at the min? Standard?

I was considering going down the Msport bumper road and selling my bumpers to recoup, seems like a fair idea?

insurance and running costs were a concern when i bought my car thats why i went for the 316ti, if i was buying a new car now though i'd get the 320td which i think is a happy medium between performance and ecomony!

i've got the standard cloth interior, light grey colour though not the dark one.. its a nice interior in excellent condition but its boring. where as i think that blue sport interior which is meant for cars in my ones colour is different and really stands out! problem is though im not sure if all the blue will go with the grey carpets and trim such as the glovebox etc?? what you think??

definitely a good idea mate, the m tech kit makes our cars look sooooo much better!!! and assuming your standard bumpers/skirts and in good condition you should get somewhere in the region of £250-300 for them which will cover painting costs!!! mstyle.co.uk do the kit for £795 painted, well worth it if you ask me! thats number one on my list of to do's.. will be sorting it when i get back from holiday!!

how much is it going to cost you to colour code your bumper trims mate? u know the black trim that runs right around the car. id love to do that to mine... body kit will look smooth mate, bit pricey though!
