I had a bit of time on my hands today so I decided it was time for a wee spring clean....

Car was washed with Meguiars Gold Glass wash (free with Evo mag subscription and surprisingly good), polished with Auto Gylm Super Resin Polish, two coats for Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection followed by a coat of Meguiars Gold Glass Wax (again free with Evo and seems to be better than the Turtle Wax Platinum that I used to use). Wheels were cleaned with Wonder Wheels and tyres dressed with Tyre Silk.

Once the cooling system has been sorted, I'll clay it. Anyhow, here are some pics...

    Debadged earlier this week...

Will do the interior tomorrow as I ran out of motivation. I'm pretty pleased with the results and found the wax much easier to apply over the sealant.

Cheers mate - my arms would disagree at this point in time though.....

I'm pretty pleased with the finish - the Megs stuff is pretty damn good in all fairness. Jut need to do the inside tomorrow.

This site has turned me into a bit of a cleaning wh*re - I can no longer just wash and chamois my car!

It used to have a tow bar on it, so there's a small bit of bumper removed - I've sourced a new rear bumper that I need to get off my a*se and fit (but it requires a but of modifcation to widen the exhaust gap as it came off a 318 - but it was only a tenner, so it it looks rubbish, I've not lost anything).

    nice clean motor sam!

i am a cleaning whore myself, prob rub the car more than the wife.
i would suggest you stop using the resin polish because all your doing is exposing fresh paint everytime you use it.
there is also no point in waxing the car then claying it.

if your arms are hurting lol this is what i do 3-4 times a year-

    zymol bath then dry

billet clay(only need water for lube)

    hd cleanse

poorboys or megs scratch remover(finest grade)

poorboys blackhole to mask any spidering

finally a couple of coats of zymol wax(i have 4 to choose from but the concours seems best)

16 hours give or take a couple lol

I swear by the autoglym EGP, but I have really noticed the rest of there stuff isnt as good any more and I have used it for years. The EGP is the only stuff I will carry on using from there range...
Ill keep using the EGP but I am currently looking around to re fill my valeting box with other polishes etc. Browsing the forum for other peoples recommendations...
