    Hi guys

After spending a lot of money on my car already under the bonnet....I have decided that I might as well go that little bit further and get the paintwork to the same level....or as best as it can be.

I have been told about DA Polishers by SlowTech....

Does anyone know how to use one of these, had experience with one of these, have experience choosing which polisher, with which kits and which finishers?

Does anyone in my local area (Kingston Surrey) have a workshop where I can have my paintwork sorted out - have it polished up properly?

Any suggestions received with appreciation - as my black ten year old paintwork is really suffering from its age.

    Thanks again

    Oliver

If you can give a rough idea whats the problem ie, lack of clarity, swirls, scratches etc.. or even some pics I may be able to advise.

    Thanks for the help guys..

Tbh its just surface scratches that I cant seem to get out with t-cut or cutting compound.

I cant really get photos up on here atm my computer has died and I have no idea where my cable for my phone is - I'm currently using people's computers when I can get a chance!

Any advice though on DA polishers etc would be great....

Otherwise I guess we'll just have to wait until I get some photos on....

Is there any chance you can use your moblie phone to post the pics up Oliver? Or a friends phone even?

Also have you had chance to let a detailer take a look at the damage, I had one look at my motor and he said he could do it BUT it would highlight all the stone chips
and the damage to the lacquer on my bonnet from bird doo doo
He told me get the bonnet resprayed to get the full benefit from detailing, he was a top bloke though, as I'd have paid him there and then after seeing his work online

anyway I hope its still running fine

Thanks Slowtech - I do have photos on my phone now but still same problem - no internet at home and the internet at work is restricted, as well as my computer!

I am not allowed to install anything so I cant get these up! Will try doing this at someone elses house.

In the mean time; does anyone know of any detailers/paint specialists in the local Surrey/Croydon/London areas?

    Thanks guys

    Oli

Oli, phone up your local dealer and ask them which body shop they use for their repairs. They usually take on private work as well as directly though your insurance
