Hello guys, this is my first post on the forum. I have been reading the forum for a while but have never posted.
I thought that some of you may be interested in my car's interior. It is a 2000 330i SE 4dr, Steel Grey. When I first bought it last year, it had dull black cloth seats, and I felt that was the only thing letting it down. I got the chance to buy a Light Beige (hellbeige) interior for a very good price.
I set about transplanting the seats first of all. The rears were incredibly easy to do, but the fronts proved to be difficult. My car originally had manually adjustable seats, and the upgrade ones are electric. I found a fantastic write up about how to wire them in, and followed it closely. Hey presto, they work!
With the interior, I also got completely beige door cards with leather inserts. I removed the leather insert parts and transplanted these onto my old black door cards. I felt that this would look a lot better and less "out of place". I think it all looks pretty good, and has an almost "BMW Individual" look. I know it may not be to everyone's taste, but I think it looks quite special.
If anyone has any questions, I'd be willing to help out.
