    Hey guys, not been on here for a while due to work not appreciating it too much! hehe - hope all is well!

    Anyways, just went for my MOT and got the dreaded red cert. lol general aging car issues; bushes on the front n track rod ends etc

    however, he came to check my N/S light and it was more of a \__/ than \____ lol (if you understand what i mean, it's meant to go straight along then flick up, however mine was pretty much a shallow V lol.)

    Anyway this light is a DEPO replacement and he couldnt adust it to any prevail, so im thinking it's probably knackered...

    The question is... is this the perfect excuse to upgrade my lights to an angel light unit? (if you can get them)

    So the big question is... can you get prebuilt plug and play units that are good quality that don't cost the earth? If so where from - the reason im asking is i hear a lot of bad things about them leaking and dying pretty quick etc lol

    This is all typical as me and the misus have just bought our new house (new build) 3 bed semi and have 2 months left to save £3k for the deposit lol ... dont ya just hate how the world works. lol

    Mate, that sounds like daylight rape to me...

    Whats actually gone on it? If its a matter of bushes and track rods you could do it yourself for less than £150 with quality parts, unless you missed a fair bit off that list & a 4 wheel alignment on a Hunter will set you back about £80 if everything is out!

    That does sound quite pricey - is that just for bushes or new.wishbones was well? Who quoted you that price?

    Morning guys, yeah it's for a fair bit as a few other things are on the way out too so we're getting everything sorted in one go;

    Broken down price:
    Labour - £160
    4 Wheel Alignment (not sure how it's done but they do a bentley on it for £300) lol - £40
    £413 Parts (all lemforder parts) 2x wishbones 2x lolipop bush 2x track rods and track rod ends and something else to do with the front roll bar i think (not sure about that one i dont have a list to look at) all parts being replaces (- the loli's) are still the original ones so it is due (113k miles)
